bay and the north bay. 35 in napa and 35 in santa rosa. it is down to 30 at napa and 28 at fairfield. so once again it is going to be cold overnight, but not the cold we have had the last few nights with freeze warnings and frost advisories. we have milder days ahead which i will tell you about shortly. >> spencer, thanks very much. >> police have releasedded a picture of a man suspected it of killing a dog during a robbery. they are on the lookout for loris barrett. her dog started barking from inside her car. police say he snatched the dog out of the car and threw it into on coming traffic. her 12-year-old dog red roxy died. there is a reward for anyone who tracks down barrett. >>> a tom cat was hit with a 22-inch arrow while roaming in contra costa county. they found him injured yesterday and took him to the vet where he underwent emergency surgery. the vet says he is in good shape considering that an arrow made its way through his body. >> he hit -- he was very, very lucky it didn't hit his spine or his chest cavity. >> contra costa animal services took that arrow as evidence. if

. the seven degrees and fairfield. 29 in santa rosa. these are not even your morning lows. temperatures will drop even more as the approach sunrise. it will shed up to be a chilly morning around the bay area. --it will shape up to be a chilly morning. as we get into the afternoon expect such a clear conditions. temperatures will be a couple degrees more of their two yesterday. it will be a pretty nice day we have a warming trend as we had throughout the rest of the week. later this evening it will not be as cold. it will be a clear evening. temperatures only dropping it to the '40's. as i take a look at your afternoon highs. not to bad in oakland. mid to upper 50s. livermore climb to 53. fairfield and vallejo 53 as well. redwood city 56 degrees. that same to tree in downtown san jose. satellite and radar shows high pressures firmly in control. we will be dry not only today but for the next several days. we will highlight that on your 7 day around the bay forecast. we will remain dry and be a big, as we head into the rest of the week. a string of sunshine awaits us. a bit of patchy frost

at the temperatures. we are subfreezing. los gatos at 31. livermore and concord at 30 and 26 in fairfield, santa rosa is 29. we are close to freezing. redwood city is 33. san jose is 33 and half moon bay at 32. 41 in san francisco right now for the only spot not in the 30's and the warmest spot. this afternoon, sunshine and temperatures warmer from low-to-mid 50's and mid-to-upper 50's elsewhere. >> our microphones are too cold, as well. we are waking up to a super cold morning before rebounding but the deep freeze is causing a different sort of pain: higher prices at the grocery store. farmers are fighting to keep citrus orchards from freezing but for lettuce the damage is done showing up already with freeze damage. prices could double. the price here is $2 a

she will soon have company when rosa parks completes her journey from the back of the bus to the front of statuary hall later this year. [ applause ] now, we look around and remember the men and women who helped define our nation. they like us, they face obstacles and they like us worked hard to move in country forward. here in this hall four presidents took the oath of office. here abraham lincoln served his single term in congress and john quincy adams, the only former president to return to serve in the house spoke out against slavery. today we also remember an event that took place outside this building, but reverberated from within. this year marks the 50th anniversary of the reverend martin luther king jr.'s march on washington which spurred passage of the historic civil rights law. we're honored to have with us a colleague, congressman john lewis who was a speaker at that historic march.
